TASI, NomuC end Tuesday's session up
Saudi market ends session higher
The benchmark Saudi index (TASI) ended Tuesday’s session up 0.5%, or 55 points, to reach 10,915. The index gained more than 373 points during the past two sessions. Meanwhile, nearly 94 million shares were traded through more than 189,000 transactions, with a total value of SAR 2.1 billion.
The petrochemical sector led advancers with a 1.7% growth, followed by energy and utilities with 0.8%. On the other hand, the financial sector trimmed down 0.1%.
SABIC, Saudi Aramco, and Al-Rajhi Bank were among the leading gainers, increasing by 2.7%, 0.9%, and 1%, respectively.
NomuC index rises on Tuesday
The Nomu-Parallel Market (NomuC) also ended Tuesday’s session higher by 1.7%, or 211 points, to reach 12,593. The index is up more than 1,000 points over the past seven sessions.
Nearly 11 million shares were exchanged through more than 34,000 transactions, with a total value exceeding SAR 109 million.
All sectors advanced, led by industrial investment with an increase of 2.9%. Meanwhile, the services sector gained 1.4%, followed by real estate with 0.8%.
Yanbu Cement’s stock climbed 9.8%, while Al-Ahsa Development and Tourism rose 7.3%.
