Amazon Delivery Station Coming to Lee County

Saltillo to host last mile facility

Residents to enjoy quicker package deliveries

WTVA Amazon announced it will be setting up a delivery station in Lee County. The new facility will be located in Saltillo and will create 100 new jobs.

The delivery station will be Amazon's first in Lee County and will help to speed up delivery times for customers in the area. The facility will be located near the intersection of Highway 45 and County Road 141 and will be operational by the end of the year.

The Lee County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution Monday to provide Amazon with $2 million in incentives for the project. The incentives will be used to help cover the cost of land, infrastructure, and job training.

"We are excited to welcome Amazon to Lee County," said Lee County Board of Supervisors President Billy Joe Holland. "This project will create new jobs and help to improve the quality of life for our residents."
